Thank you for landing here on our Big Sky Broker site and taking a look at our agents! I have been with this team of professionals since 2005 and have found all of them to be experts, a wealth of knowledge, hard workers and some of the kindest people I know!
Finding the right real estate professional to work for you is important. They guild you through what can be your most important transaction, with the highest risk. It can be stressful and tricky at times. The right realtor will communicate well and often, keep the stress for you at a minimum and navigate the waters of legal documents, negotiations, inspections and get you to the closing table joyfully!
A little about the Sherley’s:
Anita has been working full time in real estate since 2005. In 2015, Jay joined the Big Sky Brokers team with Anita. He has managed and owned businesses in town and also brings to the table an expertise in negotiation skills and a knowledge of land and ranch properties as well as recreational areas.
We have a passion for this city, its growth, people and all who value its beauty. We also value hard work, good communication, and people and their stories. Our experience in real estate is marked by not only our knowledge of the market and specifics of this industry but also how we deeply care about those we serve. Many of our past clients have said that what started as simply looking for a new home developed into finding friends for life. We value your time and individual needs along with attention to detail within every transaction.
We also value knowledge of the properties and areas in and around Helena; both of us work to stay on the cutting edge in knowing the market, as well as developments and the regulations for expansion and building in the county. Anita has been certified with GRI, ABR and taken several CRS class which simply means she is educated in every aspect of real estate and investments.
Outside of real estate, we have been married 30+ years, raised 3 children as well as many others who came to stay. We are immensely proud of our 7 grandkids that live nearby. In 2006, we founded a non-profit for young adults called Life Houses, Inc. Jay loves the out doors, hunting, fishing and telling stories of those adventures, while Anita has made the mountains her playground through biking or hiking. Mostly, we love having friends gather in the kitchen to have a glass of wine and share life.
We look forward to working for you!
